New Website is Up!

While our brand has been steadily growing for the past couple of years, our online store never quite matched the uniqueness and professionalism that the brand is aiming for. It's finally time to take the next step in our story and have the website reflect what our work truly is all about.

The previous Holvi online store was always meant to be just temporary, but before I knew it, 5 years had already gone by. Around this time last year I started thinking about investing in a proper online store and website that would not only serve our customers better, but would also include many other features such as information about us, our custom work and collaborations. But where to start? I had never even owned a domain before!

By chance I stumbled across Studio Calanthe's advertisement on their online store building package and I was finally in a situation where I could actually invest the time and money to building this website. Studio Calanthe's Oona did an amazing job on the website! She did so much more than what I had hoped and I couldn't be more happy. I hope you guys love the new website as much as I do and I hope you find the shopping experience easier and better than before.

So what's new in this online store? Pretty much everything, except the 300+ items that are being sold - they're still 100% Niramuchu original designs.

• Easy navigation with more organized product categories.
• Language option in English or Finnish.
• Information pages about our business, commission work, retailers and business partners, and event information.
• New blog for stories about the business and behind the scenes content.
• Monthly newsletter that you can subscribe to!

I wanted to have a simple outlook for the website but still make it look very much like me. I think Oona nailed it especially with the front page - it's simple, yet visually stunning with the combination of our brand colours and product photos. I wanted to have the featured section on the top of the page, where you will easily find seasonal items and new additions to our shop.

Better navigation and better product categories were some of the biggest and best changes. You can now shop by collections and series, as well as by product type, so it's easier to find what you're looking for. I also personally find it aesthetically pleasing to have product collections in their own respective categories. We've also added seasonal categories for Halloween and Christmas, and you can now buy gift cards for the shop here too!

The language options between English and Finnish are another new addition that I'm hoping will serve you guys better! Even though I prefer to work and write in English, most of our customers are from Finland, so it's natural to have the choice to shop in Finnish too.

The information pages will probably be updated along the way, but the content on these pages are what I worked on the longest. From the About Us -page you can find our story, both for the business and something about me too. There is also some information about our values so if you're not familiar with them, make sure to check it out. Next to that there is a page for Custom Work and I'm blown away by all the amazing reviews our customers gave us. I'm hoping to add more examples and reviews to this page as soon as possible. On the Retailers -page you will find information about our retailers. Next to that is the Collaborations -page and here you can find some information about our collaborations with our business partners - as well as more amazing reviews on our cooperation! After that a list of upcoming Events and finally this Blog that you're reading here.
