Christmas Cards
It's the first time in years that I have designed new Christmas Cards. I haven't really had the urge to design them in the past and truthfully, the season doesn't last very long. But this year, however, I really felt like I wanted to design some Christmas Cards. So here we are!
This year we are featuring our DINO Collection and CUTIES Collection in our card designs. I wanted to make the designs fairly simple, but also very colourful and fun. For the DINO Collection designs I had a hard time coming up with simple Christmas themes, since most of the dinosaur characters would have a hard time wearing a hat! However I'm very pleased with how they turned out.
My personal favourite out of these would have to be Very Merry Christmas. I love the fact that this card is not extremely in-your-face Christmas themed, but more of a sweet winter theme instead. It's also the very first postcard design that I have made horizontally!
For the CUTIES Collection Christmas Cards I had many ideas and they were probably the whole reason I decided to design Christmas Cards this year. First I came up with the idea of the wreath and then the hot chocolate mugs. I had the most fun honestly coming up with the quotes on these - which is odd considering I have never been much of a writer. Maybe that's about to change!
Out of these five designs, my favourite would have to be Happy Merry Everything. This one has just that little bit of humor to make anyone's day bright!
